Another fun weekend in Columbia

This past weekend was another fun one with Michelle. After our first basketball game she decided we needed to go to another game and got us tickets for this past weekend. USC vs. Georgia. Kyle wasn't able to make it so we took Olivia with us. Connor also had Teddy from school.
Teddy is like a traveling bear on the weekend he goes home with the kids and then they get to write about what they did with him for the weekend. This was Teddy's 3rd time coming home with Connor. The last time Connor had Teddy they also had want to Columbia and hung out with Michelle and Kyle. Teddy is for the boys and the girls have their own bear and her name is Tilly. At the end of the year one boy and one girl is drawn to keep the bears!
We took Teddy into the game with us to take some pictures. I got one with hime and Connor and then after that Connor was to embersesed to have him out so I took the other pictures.
It was a lot of fun this weekend, even if the gamecock did loose.

Snow Day take 2

2-13-14

So today even more snow came down. I wanted to venture out and play in it and make a snow man. It was really bad out, so we were stuck in the house. Day 3 of no school. Tomorrow is Friday no school again and Monday is Presidents' Day so no school yet again. By mid afternoon the sun was out and the snow was melting fast. I honestly don't know if I have ever seen that much snow here in SC. We had right at 5 inches plus ice. Yesterday afternoon as it was melting so fast we decided to venture out and see how the roads were. Once of of the neighbor hood they were clear. They had been plowed another thing I don't know if I have ever seen done in South Carolina. The state was defiantly prepared for this storm.

By mid afternoon it was melting as fast as it came.
Once it warmed up it Connor felt the need to have his shorts on.

The BIG snow 2014

It's snowing again! This time it's a big storm! It started yesterday (Tuesday), school was out, luckily my mom was home sick and Con stayed with her. When I left for work it started snowing but it wasn't bad. I left work at 5 for the day and there was hardly anything on the ground. When I got home we had a good three inches on the ground. Today was a different story I went to work for 2 hours and it was a mess coming home. As the day has gone on it's got worse. It is supposed to sleet all night and tomorrow will be a mess. I am defiantly prepared if we lose power. We have plenty of good and flash lights ready. I am hoping at done lose power but if we do, we are prepared. School is out tomorrow and more then likely Friday, Monday they are out for Presidents' Day. It might just be a long week!
My house and my work two major differences.
The road home
Snow we used to make snow cream- it was our first time wasn't all that good. I think we may need to find another recepie - if there is one.

Fun in the snow with the neighbor boys!

100th Day is School

The 100th day of school was supposed to be the Friday they went in late because of the weather, but seeing they missed two days it was pushed to Tuesday. They could dress like they were 100 and could do a project with 100 something. Connor was extremely cute and played the part all day long according to his teacher. I bought a paid of bifocals at dollar tree and popped the lense out. My mom had an extra Cane and we purchased the suspenders.

Coleman turns 4

1/26/14
Growing up my cousins were just that my cousins, in reality we are 3rd cousins. We never thought of it as that. Most people are not close with distance cousins but I guess because that's all we have we have all stuck together. We were never that close growing up but have became closer in our adult years. Courtney is the only one with kids besides me. Coleman turn 4 a couple weeks ago. It's hard to believe he is 4 and even harder to believe Connor is 6. Coleman was supposed to have his party last weekend but poor thing got sick with a nasty virus. So it was moved to this weekend at pump it up. Connor had a blast! He loves Coleman and of course Brandon just as much. While Coleman was busy with his friends Con was busy following Brandon. Of course Brandon dosnt mind he's just as big of a kid then the rest of them. I love seeing the relationship building between Connor and Coleman and can only hope that it will continue.
